About these terms

By downloading or using Vera, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. We’ve written these in plain language so they’re easy to understand.

Vera is a digital money companion and trusted guide. Vera provides general financial education and tools to support decision-making. The app does not provide investment, legal, tax, or financial advice, and no information within the app should be interpreted as such.

You should consult with a qualified professional before making financial decisions. Vera may use AI to generate personalized guidance.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your access to the app secure. You decide what information to share, and you can disconnect accounts or delete your data—including your account—at any time.

Acceptable use

Please use Vera lawfully and as intended. Don’t attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to harm others. We may suspend access that violates these terms.

Changes to the service

We continuously improve Vera to stay ethical, accurate, and relevant. Features may change over time, and we’ll let you know about material changes to these terms or to how the service works.

Vera Money is a financial technology company; banking services are provided by First Federal Bank of Kansas City, Member FDIC. Your funds are held in a custodial account at First Federal Bank of Kansas City for the benefit of Vera Money customers. Pass-through FDIC insurance coverage is subject to certain conditions being satisfied, including accurate recordkeeping identifying you as the owner of your funds, and is limited to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each account ownership category, including any other deposits you hold directly at First Federal Bank of Kansas City.
