Our promise

Vera never sells or shares your personal or financial information. We don’t run ads, and we don’t monetize your data. Our business is built around helping you make better money decisions—not extracting your information.

What we collect

You decide what to share. You can connect accounts securely through Plaid, our trusted partner, or enter your financial information manually. We also collect basic usage information needed to operate the app, such as device type and app activity.

We only use this information to personalize your guidance and improve Vera’s features.

How your data is protected

We use bank-grade AES-256 encryption to secure sensitive data both at rest and in transit. Access to your information is strictly limited and monitored. Your financial credentials are handled by Plaid and are never stored by Vera in plain text.

Your controls

You’re always in control. You can disconnect linked accounts at any time, and you can delete anything you’ve shared—including your entire account—whenever you choose. When you delete data, it’s removed from our systems.
