Does Vera help me build long-term wealth?

Today, Vera helps you make daily money decisions with SafeSpending. Vera Banking launches this fall — bringing checking, debit, and higher-interest savings* into the same app. More features follow. Same trusted guide throughout. *1.01%–1.51% APY vs. the FDIC national average savings rate of 0.38% as of July 2026 as published at fdic.gov. National average rates are subject to change.

Vera is a financial technology company, not a bank. Vera is not FDIC-insured. Funds may be held for your benefit by First Federal Bank of Kansas City, Member FDIC.

Funds in custodial accounts may be eligible for FDIC insurance coverage on a pass-through basis, subject to certain regulatory requirements and conditions being met (for example, proper recordkeeping and ownership identification). FDIC insurance only protects against the failure of an FDIC-insured bank; it does not protect against losses due to fraud, theft, market events, or Vera’s operations.

FDIC insurance coverage is subject to the standard insurance limits — currently up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each account ownership category. Your total coverage depends on your relationship with the bank and the aggregate balances you hold there, including through other accounts you may maintain directly with the same bank.
